I began working for Staffing Resources in 1992. It was a very good career decision because I benefited from the on-the-job training using the latest software, learned several new skills in a different field, and made friends who have stayed in contact with me years after working there.
The flexibility of being a temporary fits my lifestyle and allows me to fulfill family responsibilities while providing an income. I feel comfortable with all levels of management because of my various assignments that have included working as a receptionist and included working as an executive assistant. I have been asked to become a permanent employee many times, but I answer that I thoroughly enjoy what I am doing and being a temp is my permanent job. The best part is that a difficult assignment will end and you can walk away with ease knowing you did your best to satisfy the client. Helpful hints: Dressing in a professional manner makes a better impression. Smiling and saying hello to all levels of employees creates a willingness to be a team player. Look busy during slow times, don’t make personal calls on company time and offer to help in other areas when you see a need.

I was laid off from my job of 7 years in October 2004. I tried finding a job on my own with no luck, so I decided to sign up with several staffing agencies. Unfortunately, I was not getting very many assignments. I thought, I would try one more staffing agency, so I signed up with Staffing Resources. Staffing Resources was finding me more assignments than all the other agencies combined. Finally in September 2006, Staffing Resources placed me on a long term assignment where I continue to work, more than a year later. I love the work and the people. Staffing Resources have really come through for me. The team at Staffing Resources is the best! They are professional, friendly and enjoyable to work with.
