Staffing Associates Screening

Staffing Resources conducts a 6 step screening process with all potential staffing associates.  Completing all steps ensures that Staffing Resources knows the full potential of each associate.  This enables us to match an employee to the best suitable position creating a successful partnership with clients and associates.

Initial Screening: When prospective associates express an interest in our service we ask several key questions to determine whether or not to schedule them for a personal interview.

Employment Application: Upon arrival for their personal interview, prospective associates complete an application that gathers pertinent information.  The information is utilized to help us assess their abilities and determine what type of positions for which they will be best suited.

Skill Evaluation: Staffing Resources has computerized methods of evaluating the skills of prospective associates.  Every prospective associate takes an evaluation that measures skills including data entry, typing, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Personal Interview:
Personal interviews are conducted with each prospective associate for the purpose of learning enough about the individual to decide whether or not we will accept him/her as an associate.  It is also the time to verify and clarify skills and determine overall strengths and weaknesses.

Orientation: After completion of the application the associate receives an orientation during which they learn about Staffing Resources and our expectations of them.  At this time we also answer any questions they may have.

Reference Checking: The final phase of screening prospective associates is reference checking.  We attempt to check at least two references for each individual to obtain feedback on their experience and past job performance.

I-9 Verification:We adhere to the I9 policy of verifying employment eligibility in compliance with government regulations. I9s are filled out and verified in each of our branches. Once an employee starts an assignment, I9s are stored confidentially in each office.
